This training is suitable for employees, supervisors, SHE representatives and workplace teams who need stronger practical skills in inspections, hazard identification, corrective action and SHE reporting. Entry requirements, language, duration and evidence requirements are confirmed before booking.
After completing the training and applicable assessment activities, learners should be able to explain workplace SHE responsibilities and standards, perform inspections, identify unsafe conditions, recommend corrective action and report workplace safety conditions appropriately.
SAQA Unit Standard 13223 assumes prior learning in working safely and using safety equipment. Swift Skills Academy’s administrative requirements, learner documentation and any additional workplace requirements will be confirmed before enrolment.
Training is currently delivered in English. Language and workplace-reporting requirements for company groups or credit-bearing assessment must be confirmed before enrolment.
Facilitator-led delivery may include discussions, exercises, case studies, workplace scenarios, simulated inspections, document review, videos and practical reporting activities. The final delivery format will be confirmed in the quotation or booking confirmation.
Training may include theoretical learning, practical exercises and assessment evidence appropriate to the booked programme. For credit-bearing training, confirm the assessor, moderation process, learner registration, evidence requirements and result-recording pathway in writing before enrolment.
