Inspecting access scaffolding on construction sites demands sharp analytical skills, thorough knowledge of standards, and unwavering commitment to safety.
This advanced, SAQA-accredited course (Unit Standard 263205, NQF Level 4, 6 Credits, CETA) trains learners to become competent scaffold inspectors capable of verifying compliance, identifying risks, and issuing handover certificates with authority.
Through a rigorous blend of classroom theory and practical field inspections, participants will master the skills to:
-
Analyse the role and responsibilities of the scaffold inspector, including required documentation (registers, green tags) and signage.
-
Understand scaffold types, their applications, limitations, components, and loading requirements per SANS 10085.
-
